Alex, I see that you are sitting in that green, comfortable chair. I will attempt to sit with you, in hopes that you do not like what I am doing and abandon the chair altogether, thus leaving me with the prize that I have set my eyes on.
Archie, I intend to keep this chair. I will thwart you with my commitment and dedication to staying in this chair, no matter what tactics you try to use on me.
Ha HA! I am breaking you down; I will first play with your feet, and annoy you just enough that you must get up and tell your mommy that you do not like what I am doing!
That is where you are wrong my friend; my knees bend quite nicely in this toddler body and I will use them to slowly shove you off my seat.
Well, Alex, you have impressed me. I wasn't prepared for that. I think I will just have to sit down here and think about my next move...
The backwards jump-thrust!!! You never saw it coming! I will lay on you until you can no longer stand it, and finally you will have to run to your mother and tell on me and I will have my prize!!!
Okay, okay, I see that took you by surprise. My mother will be here any minute to scold me for sitting on you. You've won this time my cousin; in the future let's just have two chairs and sit next to each other. Although I foresee myself not wanting to sit next to you just to be difficult and throwing a tantrum about where you sit in proximity to myself, oh and also who gets to say the prayer at dinner... very important stuff, I suggest we rarely have quiet Sunday dinners just so our parents don't get too spoiled. Deal?

That was hilarious. Especially since I began the whole thing by staring at that first picture thinking, "Oh, a post about some of Kate and Archie's new friends, yay. And look, Kate found some good friends that look just like us! And Archie looks so young. Wait, is that Alex? Hold on, that's me. What?!"
That pretty much portray's the relationship doesn't it?!
Miss you and trouble makers 1 and 2!
I love all the new posts! Your house is adorable and it sounds like you are adjusting quite nicely to AZ. I love that I can (sort of) watch your kids grow through this blog-because I feel like I should know them and they know me, but the blog will have to suffice until one day hopefully we can be next door neighbors. ;)
