Family Happenings

I never seem to have pictures of Ben on our blog. He is in our family, we love him dearly and he is one of the best playmates! Here is is 'working' with Archie, Ben got the small set of safety glasses..

Archie decided early one morning, clearly I was still waking up because he had half his room moved before I realized what was happening, to switch rooms with Annie... The above picture is everything he could move from his room into Annie's.
He got stuck at his door with his bed, didn't quite fit. This is when I realized what was going on, because he came to me asking if I could please move his bed for him!
Best pals. I love it. Archie loves holding Annie's hand, and what better place than rolled up in the rug?
Annie Bananie! This is her Christmas dress- her Christmas bow which was promptly removed by her father who forbade Annie from wearing it to church... (he doesn't love bows...)
I walked into my room for something needing two hands, but I was holding Annie. No longer being able to just set her on the bed, I put her on the floor, did what ever I was doing, taking about 10 seconds, and my daughter had disappeared. I knew she could not have gotten far, but I couldn't see her anywhere. I asked Arch, he replied: "under the bed mom". They both were, a new place to lose my girl, and about 20 cars and trucks...
Annie getting ready for the 1k that Kristen put together for our birthdays ( mine and Kara's:))
Just after we finished, Archie ran almost the whole way with me! What a runner!
Our new favorite tradition: going down to Grandma Jake's on Friday mornings. Scout, Toby, Heidi, Alex, Archie and Annie run amok all over Grandma's house while the mom's try to keep control and chat at the same time, it is a blast.
This darling boy 'reading' his scriptures. He 'read' a story of Jesus taking grandma Norma for a ride in his car... adorable.
Kara concentrating for our minute to win it apple stacking game. You had to stack 4 apples on top of each other and they had to stand free for 5 seconds, not as easy or as hard as it seems!
